In this stock market camp, we will discuss what the stock market is and what the various markets are to trade on. The learner will be introduced to a handful of terms used in the market. We will also discuss different types of stock trading and how you can use them to meet your goals. The student will learn how to read a stock chart. We will learn how to use a screener/scanner to find stocks to trade. We will set up a trading plan so we know what we are doing. Hello, my name is David. I have two children a daughter and son. I obtained a bachelor's of science degree in engineering with a minor in business administration. I currently run my own international import/export business and day trade on the stock market. I also teach online ESL classes, an ivy league prep school program, and business/finance classes. Previously, I ran my own agricultural process consulting business. Worked as an engineer at Tesla among other companies in the Silicon Valley. I also have been a computer teacher at the following places: Mark West Union School District and Novato Unified School District. My experience has been working with and teaching children from ages 6-19 years old for over 7 years. My passion is travelling and finding animals in their natural environment, even if it means I have to hike a volcano or trek through Sub Saharan Africa. My motivation to teach young people about the financial markets is my personal lack of knowledge in the subject when I was young. Now that I am older and can see the benefits of time in the market I wish I had access to these types of courses in my youth.
